We've had a last-minute a change in the coffeehouse schedule -- Willy Minnix is going to be our entertainer this Friday evening! Willy is one of the best mandolin artists in the area. Saturday, February 18

Grace Episcopal Church, Muncie, will host Hawley Todd on Saturday, February 18, 2012, for a workshop on prayer, with a focus of “Praying with Others”. Hawley brings over 40 years of training and practice in spiritual formation and the traditions of healing. He utilizes numerous healing modalities as a Minister of Christ Healing.

All invited to take some centering time before the school day begins.
Each day, Monday through Friday, from 8-8:25 am there will be silent worship in the Quigg worship room.
Come when you can. Leave when you must.

Join us for Peace Forum, this Thursday Feb. 7, 12-1:10 pm, seminary dining room for a presentation bny Alex Haworth. Alex got the Earlham College Bike cooperative going and has been involved in other local environmental concerns.

Have you heard the dreary statistics about Richmond's graduation rate? Community activists are working creatively to ensure that students are able to succeed in schools. Please join us for Peace Forum on Thursday, January 31 at noon as Kevin Browder-Handley shares with us about Richmond's Galileo Charter School. Kevin, an Earlham College graduate, led the founding of Galileo in 2005.

The Global Women's Project of the Church of the Brethren is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!

Come and join the gathered seminary community this Friday in Nicarry chapel as we worship with one another. The service will highlight the ways in which both Friends and Brethren approach communion and will provide opportunity for the expression of both. Matt McKimmy and Amy Gall Ritchie will provide worship leadership. Hope to see you there!

Joint choir rehearsals are held weekly on Wednesdays at 4:15 p.m. in Nicarry Chapel at Bethany. All voice parts are needed and singers of all skill levels are welcome. On January 30, 1972, the British Army conducted an arrest operation in Derry during a Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association march. During the protest, fourteen unarmed marchers were shot and killed and another fourteen were seriously injured. The day has since been known as "Bloody Sunday."

Last year, Beth Lehman told Peace Forum of her Peace Project planned for Guatemala.
She has returned and will tell us how it went this Thursday, Jan 24, 6 pm, ESR dining room.
Beth is a 2007 graduate of Earlham College and was one of three Earlham students to win a grant for a peace project.
